For example, if a trader profits $5,000 and has an 80% profit split, the trader keeps $4,000. All payouts are reported on a 1099-MISC, meaning our traders are independent contractors — not employees — giving them the freedom and flexibility they deserve.

At Maverick Trading, increases in Firm Capital access are granted based on each trader's performance, profits retained in their account, and the size of their risk deposit.

We look for traders who demonstrate consistent results with low drawdowns and minimal account swings. In fact, some of our traders go an entire year without a losing month.
Advancing to higher levels of Firm Capital access is approved by management based on the trader's track record and performance.
