What You'll Trade

Single-name large-cap options across directional, defined-risk neutral, and event-driven strategies. The universe is intentionally narrow — typically 30–60 names a trader covers actively — but the depth of each market lets traders run larger positions than would be feasible in mid-caps.

Day-to-Day

• Morning: review existing positions for tested strikes, IV changes, and Greeks drift
• Identify new entries from the covered watchlist — directional setups, vol mispricings, or event-cycle plays
• Execute with limit orders inside the spread; large-cap option markets reward patient execution
• End of day: mark portfolio Greeks, review the day's P&L attribution

Risk Profile

Large-cap options markets are deep but not bulletproof — earnings, macro shocks, and single-name news can still produce 5%+ overnight moves. Maverick caps per-name notional, per-name vega, and portfolio-level Greeks exposure.
